So I just got an email today saying there was a comment request for this blog and I was taken aback... Blog? What? Me? Then I realized how much of a cave I've lived in for the past year. I'm now in my second week of law school and somehow still surviving.
First, and most important, I passed my first year of law school. No academic probation, no failing grades, no soul crushing defeats.
Second, I completed two internships this summer. More about those in upcoming posts.
Third, I was selected to serve on my school's Honor Board. I'm just now getting involved with that...
Fourth, I managed the highest grade in my research/writing class and accepted a position as a teacher's assistant. I have the best co-TA in the entire world an am hoping to inspire a class of 1L's!
Fifth, I got a scholarship for qualifying for Honor Society. Totally unexpected but completely appreciated. Plus, Honor Society looks very good on that resume!
Finally, I was selected as a Staff Editor of Law Review. We are being put through the ringer so far. I cannot say that I am loving that part of life, but I am going to keep pushing forward.
So... Not bad for a busy mom of three. If I can do it, anyone can.
How about some updates?
